A historic Cape Town neighborhood originally known as the Malay Quarter. It is a formerly segregated neighborhood on the slopes of Signal Hill and is the center of Cape Malay Islamic culture. The area contains the largest concentration of pre-1850 architecture in the country. Bo-Kapp is Africaans for "above the Cape."
